Bacon wrapped in sausage, wrapped in bacon. Woah that's nuts.

Wow, I might have a heart attack just from reading about it. Is that enough greasy meat in one very tasty meal? :p

That's crazy. Sounds kind of good but the calories involved are massive. Not that it really matters to me much. Well, I'm off to find some food!

5000 calories. Good grief I love all that food but that intimidates me. Obviously this is meant for 3+ people but I just can't imagine...

Oh my goodness, I have to agree with Caged Wolf regarding the "heart attack". That's the first thing I thought of when I saw this.

I really like bacon, but only occassionally and then only a piece or two at a time - no more.

I can see where a lot of people (mostly men) would enjoy this, though. It would seem to be a "meat lovers" paradise almost.

And, the receipe doesn't seem that hard to make or have that many ingredients in it, which I think helps a lot when preparing a dish.

Still, I will have to pass on this one. My cholesterol would go sky high. :misspeak:

It sounds more like a heart explosion to me. I don't watch what I eat to the extremes of some people, but this thing is just way too much for me.

Guess what was on Fox & Friends Friday morning show???? Yep, you're right if you guessed the "Bacon Explosion" and the guys who created it. They fixed one on the show (and they already had several of them cooked and ready to eat). Everyone there tried some of it and they seemed to like it a lot.

This is making these guys famous and probably rich too!!!!!!!!!!!

I coaxed my sister into making a Bacon Explosion for her Super Bowl party tomorrow. So I'm going to try one tomorrow, but I doubt I'll eat very much of it. I'll let you know what I thought of it.

Okay, update time. I'm at my sister's and her and her guests are watching the game, but I stole her laptop since I'm bored.

Anyway, she did indeed make the Bacon Explosion, and while we usually eat healthy, we splurged a bit tonight. I must say, it was absolutely incredible. It's one of those things that you know is bad for you, but it's just so good that you can't stop. It's incredibly filling too. She served them on biscuits like a little sandwich. It's funny, everyone that tried it loved it. I'd recommend trying one some day, but make sure there are a lot of people there to eat it, since it's so dense.
