Remembering the games of yesteryear.

Tetris Attack

Despite the title, the game hardly has anything to do with Tetris, but it's still a good puzzle game. The original japanese version was called "Yoshi no Panepon", and I scored a japanese import of the Game Boy version recently along with the USA Tetris Attack on the SNES.

I always passed this one up because I figured it was just one more variant of Tetris. If it's that different from Tetris, they really should have picked a different name. Using Tetris in the name of a not-Tetris game just smacks of trying to cash in on the popularity of the original.
