Hello everyone! Apparently, there's been a patch in the works to fully translate Phantasy Star generation:1 for two years now, and the project has finally bore fruit! There are even two patches, one that calls everyone's favorite blue-haired esper Noah and another that names him Lutz.

Both patches can be found in xdelta format here: http://www.romhacking.net/translations/1755/

It's fully complete, to the best of my knowledge. I intend to play it sometime soon in the very near future!

Also, the project creator said they intend to someday translate Phantasy Star generation:2! :hyper:

Yes that's great news for all the Phantasy Star fans ! (especially the one we can find on this fantastic website !) :)

I clarified the topic title and altered my post for coherency. Sorry 'bout that everyone. Still, I'm so happy to see the generation games get translated. :)

I'm glad more people will be able to enjoy these games now. I'll have to check out these patches sometime myself, if I'm able.
