Teacher Hoaz

Postby Silver_Surfer1 » Fri Jun 13, '08, 4:46 pm

I don't remember what state it was at (in the USA), but I heard a news report this morning of a school somewhere where the teachers pulled a hoax on some of the school kids there to try and stop them from drinking and driving, or something like that, by telling them that some of their schoolmates had been killed by doing that very thing.

:fiery: :x  :x  :fiery:

I don't know about anyone else, but this really makes me angry. These people call themselves "teachers" and they should know better than to pull a prank or hoax like this on school kids of any age. It could have went over perfectly well, but just think of all the potential possible damage it could have, and may have, caused to some of these students who had been told their friend was dead - that is just inhuman, I think.

From what I understand, later the kids were told it was all a hoax. But, what if someone had done something harmful to themselves or something of that nature before they were actually told the truth??????????

What do the rest of you think about this? Were the teachers right, or wrong, to handle this situation this way? Opinions or Comments?

It's terrible that every year children have to learn that their friends and classmates have really died in such tragic accidents. This was a very insensitive approach - if they did this to my kid, I'd be furious. I suppose this shows even the smartest of people can make huge mistakes.

You kidding? Thats probably the best way to do it yet? XD I'd be so crying and then the cameras would come out. XDDD
Everything has a pattern. Something set. Even random things. They aren't random at all, its complex mathematics. The trick is to find the pattern. Then you can exploit it.

People think things have a certain end. Taxes. Work. Due dates don't really exist. Trust me. When you put a band of world scholars in the same room, and set them on talking about anything, the most interesting topics come up. The existence of negative time. The probability of "random occurrence". The government's involvement in the media. And falsified due dates. They aren't real, trust me....
