Gyuna is the bartender of Ryuon, the first Dezorian town Chaz and friends visited. Like any classic bartender character, Gyuna listens to information from his patrons and passes it on to anyone who will listen. He is said to have an old fashioned accent. That would have made for an interesting bit of voice acting, don't you think?

I wonder how the Dezo accent is, or the Parman, or the Motavian? That'd be fun to hear. For me, I've always thought that the Parmans spoke American, motavians with more of a deep almost spanish accent, and Dezo's with a sort of chinese/japanese/korean. XD

Phantasy Star with voice acting. That would be pretty cool if they did it well! I'd love to hear all the accents.

I read somewhere that they had originally planned on having voice acting in PSIV, but decided against it for some reason. I'm fuzzy on the details anyhow, but wasn't PSIV going to be on another system in the first place? (sorry for the off-topicness~)

It was originally going to be a Sega CD game. If they wanted voice acting, that would have been the way to do it back then. I wonder if even that format could have held all the voice clips they would have needed for PSIV.

Bumping up this former Image Of The Day!

Bartending sounds like an interesting profession. Just imagine all the things you might be able to hear at any time.
