The Great Light

There isnt much mention in the series of The Great Light.

What is it? Deadbeat deity? Absentee landlord?
Just too busy contending with other Profound Darknesses?

The Good, the Bad, or the Indifferent?

Discuss.

I see the great light like a warrior dressed in white, something like King Grayskull. and I see Profound Darkness as HORDE PRIME or Dark Goku

I lean toward the absentee landlord idea myself. It probably put some stuff in place, then went off exploring in the universe and never came back.

I developed a theory that the Great Light and Profound Darkness fought over whether such power should be held by an individual being. It's why the GL is never present, because it put itself to rest after the PD was sealed.

The two were part of the same being at once. Perhaps the being was going to put itself to rest, though one half broke free into another being, which was the PD, while the original half, the GL, remained loyal to the idea.

So it's possible that killing or destroying anyone wasn't what the PD originally intended, since we know nothing of its prior intentions.

Definitely a shot in the dark of a theory, but I had a lot of fun with it.

An interesting theory too, even if I'm not totally convinced about it but why not ?
