Superman Movies

Well, the Batman topic got plenty of responses, so let's try his buddy now. Out of all the various versions of Superman to hit the movie and TV screens, which was your favorite?

My favorite is the old Adventures of Superman show, with George Reeves. Supposedly he hated the role, but he sure did a great job bringing it to life.

Superman 2, with Christopher Reeve was my favorite.

The first Chris Reeve movie has always been my favorite. He captured the character perfectly.

For any Superman fans here, I saw on the Entertainment Tonight program last night where the current actor playing "Superman" in the big screen movies, actor Brandon Routh, just got married recently. They were to show some pics of the wedding ceremony, I think, but I missed that. Congrats to him and his new bride. I hope he got a pre-nup.

Good for him. I hope it works out and they're happy together for a long time.

Thought it would be appropriate to post this here. Sad news today. Actress Margot Kidder, who played the role of Lois Lane in the "Superman", "Superman 2", and "Superman 3" movies, has passed away. Not exactly sure what the cause of death is yet. She was 69, I think. Sad that she died on Mother's Day.
