Super Bowl 2013

Any football fans around that are planning to watch the Super Bowl coming up soon?? This year the game will be on Sunday, Feb. 3rd and the two teams playing are the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49er's:

I'm not really into football that much right now but I have been a fan in the past and although I don't know much about the Ravens as they are a fairly new team to me, I'm going to have to go with the 49'ers!!!

Should be an interesting game.....and there are always those Super Bowl commercials too!!!!

Sure, I'll watch it ! Impossible to miss it ! In France it'll be very late (from 1 to 5 am !!) But I'll take all is needed to stay awake !
About the match, I think I'll be supporting the 49ers too, even if this year I haven't seen a single match (shame on me )

Don't feel bad myau56 as I also have not seen a single football game this year. Just been busy doing other things, especially on Sundays when most of the games are shown over here, I think. They also air the Superbowl late on Sunday evenings here most times at about 6 p.m., so it's well close to 11 p.m. before the thing is even over with considering half time and all the other festivities, but it's an event totally worth watching usually.

I guess I would have been more interested if my favorite football team was participating in the Superbowl, but alas that wasn't meant to be this year I suppose. Oh well, there is always next year.

I watch for the commercials. Also, until I opened this thread, I had no idea who was playing, other than neither of them were New York teams.

We were invited to a party, but it's at least half an hour away, and like many responsible adults, we have things to do on Monday morning. I told my husband he could do whatever he wanted, but I wasn't going. Oh well. We'll get some fun snack foods and I'll probably drink a beer or several and still manage to have a fun night!

For me It'll be over at 5 or 6 am ! A long night watch but I'm not scared and I'll watch all the match, I swear it !
I agree with you, it's an event totally worth watching !

I might watch some of the commercials online the next day or something. The game itself doesn't interest me, but seeing the new ads can be fun.

THOUL : For me it's the contrary : the ads don't interest me at all ! But the game..

I've watched the entire game ! Congratulations to the Baltimore Ravens Even if I was more for the San Francisco 49ers, that was such a great game !
In the two first quarters (for the first half of the game ! ) the ravens were far more superior but on the second half, just after the blackout after the concert ! But they were too short at the end, unfortunately !

But again congratulations to the ravens, their are worth their victory
