Phantasy Star: Fringes of Algo

I'm not getting my hopes up. Still think it's not going to be too great. Won't complain if proven wrong.

The only thing it has against it so far is that it's made by the guy who took Star Trek and turned it into a ridiculous mess.

I'm a purist and elitist too, especially about Star Wars, but words can't describe how excited I am about this. I agree about the downed Star Destroyer, and all the other little references to the original. That alone would get me hyped, but Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, and Harrison Ford rocking Star Wars, the original gang, one more time? Yes. Count me in.

I'm not a big Star Wars fan but I'm eager to Watch it on Big screens !

Ditto for me on this. Doesn't help matters that George Lucas is now openly making poilitical (stupid) statements, and that Disney is in charge of this whole movie making affair. Get ready for a whole heap'n mess of pro-illuminati and sexuallity subliminal messaging from the Disney side of things and God only knows what manner of whacked political statements that George may have decided to throw into the story.

If you really think about this, the move to get all the merchandise to the open market this early and long before the movie debutes, just before Christmas even, is a well thought out manuever on Disney's part. If the movie bombs then chances are that they will have already sold the bulk of all the merchandise at top dollar and well to late for people to be considering returning items, especially those items already wrapped and under the Christmas tree or that Jewish candle holder thingy I can't recall the name of. In other words, they are fully cashing in on this movie long before it ever hits the theaters. Bravo to them for a brilliant marketing strategy.

Today, May 4, 2015 is "Star Wars" Day! May the fourth be with you!

Today, Friday, September 4, 2015 is being called "Force Friday" as many stores everywhere are trying to cash in on the "Star Wars" fascination by selling various "Star Wars" products of every kind in anticipation of the new "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" movie coming out in December 2015.

LOL, I got a glimpse of our local Walmart sale paper the other day and it was filled with "Star Wars" items. It made me wonder what in the world was going on. I thought the new movie was coming out this week, but no, that won't happen for another month or so.

So, what does everyone think of this marketing strategy? Is it too early? Will sales be a success, or will the force abandon all these stores for now?
