More exciting news for fans of the "Star Wars" movies. Disney says there will soon be lots more "Star Wars" movies coming:

So, do you think this is a bit of overkill with too many movies too soon, or is this a "Star Wars" fans ticket to paradise, so to speak.

Take a look at this video clip of an appearance by actor Harrison Ford (who played Hans Solo in "Star Wars") on the Jimmy Kimmel show, I think it was. Very funny, lol:

Caution, in that Mr. Ford uses what might be considered to some a little bit of strong language in a sequence or two. He does seem to have a sense of humor somewhat though.

I think a new Star Wars movie every year would be a great thing. It would allow a lot of characters to be explored in detail for the first time in film, if they do go with that character focused plan. Certainly it would allow the universe to be expanded, much as the various novels have done over the years. Maybe some of those will even be adapted to film.

Yeah, I would never complain about an abundance of Star Wars movies. Eternal Star Wars nerd here.

Found this news item about the actor who played the original role of Chewbacca in the "Star Wars" films. I was not familiar with his real name and didn't recognize his face either. Drawbacks of wearing a costume in the movies, I suppose. Anyway, it's an interesting article on what's happening with him now these many years later after the original "Star Wars" :
