Herbert F. Solow, a producer and developer of many TV shows, etc., including "Star Trek", has passed away at the age of 89. He also wrote several books related to "Star Trek".

I haven't had a chance to watch the "Star Trek: Picard" DVd yet but everyone else in the family who has seen it so far really likes it and can hardly wait for season 2.
