Mr. Spock's ears are going to the Smithsonian National Air and Space museum as they have been donated by the children of actor Leonard Nimoy, who played Spock in the original "Star Trek" tv series as well as several movies and roles in other series.

Actor William Shatner aka Capt. Kirk in "Star Trek" has been in a car accident. Cars were banged up some but nobody was injured from news reports I saw on TV. Some of the news people tried to make it sound as if Shatner should maybe think about giving up driving a car since he is elderly and 90 years of age. They did not even know who or what caused the accident though. Shatner is one of the most active people I have seen for his age and I hope he stays that way, jmho.
