That reminds me, some of the first images from the new movie are out now. You can how the cast, the bridge of the Enterprise, and the villain are going to look:

The first look at the new Enterprise has been released:

What do you think? All in all, I think it's pretty good. The nacelles are a bit strange looking, but otherwise it seems like a good fusion of the original ship's design and the way the models have been in later movies.

Just glancing at it, it seems to look okay (atleast from the outside). I wonder how the inside will look though. That's important also. If they change or mess with that very much, it will be very noticeable.

I'm fairly certain that Leonard Nemoy (Spock from STC ) is making an appearance in the new movie with the role of a Starfleet Acadamy instructor. From the trailers I have seen, I'm slightly dissapointed to see that Spock gives way to an emotional outburt, leaping across the bridge of the Enterprise shatner-style (Insert nerdy laugh here, adjust glasses, and take a hit from the enhaler) and attack Kirk. Other than that I must say that, based on the trailers, this is the most cinematic Star Trek movie since Star Trek: Generations! =)

From what I've read, Leonard Nimoy is playing an older Spock. Supposedly there's time travel involved to get both Spocks in a scene together, so maybe he'll be posing as an instructor. I haven't seen much of the trailers yet, though I did catch a commercial last night during Terminator. It looked pretty good, though it moved from scene to scene too fast to leave much of an impression.

Yeah, the trailers that have appeared thus far* haven't exactly given me a solid idea of how the movie is going to play out.

Here's a look at some of the new "Star Trek" toys:

What do you think of the new ST toys? Do you think you'll buy any of these?

Do you have any old "Star Trek" toys from other movies, tv shows, etc.???

This has probably been said already but the actor playing Spock plays Siler in Heroes. As far as Shatner being in it, I would've liked seeing him play young Kirks father or Grandfather. I think it would've added some flair to the movie.

To tell the truth I have never seen any Star Trek shows before ever. So I know absolutly nothing about it :blank: . From time to time I've seen it listed in the TV Guide but I have never urged myself to check it out before. Maybe I should one day.

Well you definitely should check it out Lucas. The old episodes look just like that, old, but that gives it the classic look.
