Sylvester Stallone has been honored with being added to the Boxing Hall Of Fame for his work and recognition to the Boxing world with his "Rocky" movies:

Congratulations to Mr. Stallone!

Reading some of the comments below the article, some people seem to think Stallone probably should not have gotten this honor as he is not an actual boxer and only an actor playing a boxer in a movie.

What do you think? Opinions or Comments???

It seems overdue to me. Sure, he's not a boxer, but he gave the sport a huge amount of promotion by creating those films. I imagine there are many people who would cite the Rocky films as their main, or even only, exposure to boxing in general.

Stallone, doing more after age 60 than many of us would ever dream of. Woo hoo!
