After a very looong hiatus, I'm back to uploading gameplay videos for PS: BaNL. The below vid is the final boss fight for the demo, the one and only Zio.

Major credit goes to Solar for providing me with the link from which the awesome battle tune comes from. It's called Dancing Mad Part 4 by AKHT. And stone me for this, but it's a remix of Kefka's battle theme from FF6. >< Somehow or the other, a FF song will always worm its way into my game.

That is quite epic. I have to say though, I don't think Dancing Mad is a good choice for a boss theme. It is of course epic and awesome, but it is also quite a heard song and IMO, does not fit a boss like Zio. Just my :twocents:

All the boss fights from Zio will have an element of strategy to them now. If Alys gets KO'd in either of those boss fights and you forgot to get GC (Grandcross), then you can kiss your hopes good-bye, because all of the major bosses use very powerful defensive barriers that not even the Psycho-Wand can repel.

Unless you level Alys and Rune up to moderately high levels where they get Megid and Legeon respectively, then you won't have a fighting chance, because those spells, apart from GC, are the only ones that can smash down those nasty barriers.

And the fights will only get nastier from now on. I designed them to keep the player on their toes, and that is exactly what that video did with me when I was recording it.

I don't quite dig the music, Lyla...now don't be shocked by me saying something in Earthbound is awesome, but I think the first music that plays during the fight against Giygas would work quite well. >_>

I am the only one that really digs that battle tune? >< Not that it matters, you guys can always disable the music when playing the game, but the sound effects can still be played. Then you can play your EB track, CW while fighting Zio when the game is finally released on the 8th of Sepetember
