Well there was a lunar eclipse earlier this Wednesday morning and this one was called a "blood moon". Did anyone here get to see a glimpse of it? I forgot all about it and missed it. Oh well, there should be another one probably sometime next year. For me, and anyone else that may have missed the spectacular site this morning, here are some images of the event in various places:

This Saturday, April 4th, there will be a Lunar Eclipse with the added extra attraction of what is called a "blood moon". Some parts of the US may be able to see this event which happens very early Saturday morning. This is the third such blood moon to occur recently and there is yet another blood moon event due to happen later in the year which is a rarity. Also since tomorrow mornings blood moon event is happening during the special holy weekend of Good Friday/Passover/Easter some Christians say there may be biblical tie-ins to this event.
