So what happens to Thea?

I checked what Alair said in Sean/Crys' paths for the answer, rather than using what she said to Nial as reference (though it is a valid answer, but doesn't answer everything and ends up leaving more questions). But you're right, Lune was probably driven by his hatred for the Orakians. I think what made him really snap was when Alair was kidnapped.

Does the game make it clear who rescued her in the Ayn timeline? If not...*starts taking notes for future fanfics*

It doesn't. Alair says she was "kidnapped by Orakians" when she woke up and that made Lune angry, but that's all. No one else even mentions it.

From Nial's path, since there is no Ayn around to save Thea, Lyle will go off to save Thea himself, and also stop the cyborg troubles.

In Lensol Castle, which is only habited during the paths of Nial's children, a guard there says the once saw a dragon fly out of the castle with a woman, and that he managed to leave a scar on its face.

In Endora, a man there says that he once saw a wounded, one-eyed dragon fly out from Cape Dragon Spine (the peninsula southeast of Endora).

Oddly enough, in the paths of Ayn's children, Lensol Castle will be uninhabited. I'm not sure what happens to Lune through Ayn's path though.

All these theories are interesting ! Hard to tell exactly what happened to Thea anymore but like someone said before : in PSIII there is a lot of room to try to think about what could have happened !

I agree with myau56, there are some interesting opinions above about what might have happened to Thea. I never thought much about it.

Anyone else here have any opinions on what you think may have happened to Thea?

Alas no more ideas for me for the moment...Thea is a sort of "pawn" in this game but it ends well for her !

I'm sure that Thea found another cousin to marry, they are into that kinky stuff.
