Rylen : thanks about all the advices ! Trying to buy on the net is always (or often) like trekking in a jungle ! :)
Sure I'm gonna Watch my country shops first as always ! Shipping costs are always bad when it comes from a very very long way...:(

I was forum diving the other day. Their was a bit of a dust up and revenge negative feed back over shipping costs. The vendors can be petty. In fact I have an issue right now where I live positive feed back on a vendor. (order was about 40$) and he chose not to leave me with ANY. Go figure.

That comment about the feedback reminded me of the dear old days of my ebay selling/buying. I do not miss those days at all. Well, I miss the money I used to make by selling but not having to deal with some of the people's bad attitudes, not leaving feedback after a good transaction, and lots of other issues I faced over the years. For the most part people are nice and complete the deal accordingly.

Yes, me too I was on eBay but only buying (I've never sold !) and on Jauce (to try to have some Phantasy Star related stuff, of course ! ;) ).
And from my own experience, I have never met real bad persons or be victim from bad attitudes and for that I was sure to be a Lucky guy ! But you're right most people are correct but there is sometimes (alas) black sheeps...

I use the feed back to see how the store will operate. I can look at the non positive reviews and then decide if I want to take the risk. Even if the amount is low. I look to see what the issues were and how the store took care of them. I leave feed back after I get my order and make sure that it is up to par. Even on the few issues I've had. If the store takes care of it. Then they get positive feed back.

You always have to check reviews and make a choice based on them ! :) It's always a risk to try to buy via ebay or some other sites !

Catching up a bit on Rylen's blog!

The link can be found in the first post on the first page of this thread.

Glad to see you sharing your lego creations with some of the older generation! They are always very appreciative and interested for people taking the time to participate with them in some form or fashion.
