Smelly games?

Postby Wolf Bird » Wed May 20, '09, 1:24 am

I kind of like how military research and such can find its way into games...

I don't know if I want my games to go THAT realistic. If games ever do reach this point, it would be interesting, but...I'd hope it'd be an option that can be turned off.
Next Pokemon game(s): Pearl
Last finished Pokémon game: Shield
Other games: Skyrim Special Edition (Switch), Spyro Reignited Trilogy (Switch & PS4), Okami (Switch & PS4)
Other gaming goals: completing a Living Pokedex (minus some event Pokes) and going through at least 1 game per generation

Fair enough, but like you said I'd also prefer the smell option to have a turn off as well

I imagine the "smell" option would be interesting but in some games like Dead Space or Fallout 3 where it's very bloody, I can see where it would get old [and nauseating] very quick.

I'll definitely pass on that one. While it might be nice to smell flowers or trees when running through a forest, imagine the smell when an RPG takes you into a sewer! That's not a smell I'd want in my home.
