Skies of Arcadia

Good news Skies fans: Sega may be revisiting Arcadia after all! According to a story on 1up.com, the latest issue of EGM mentions a rumor that Sega has been secretly working on a sequel. Check it out for yourself:

Ah, the rumor column in EGM. It's been years since I saw that. It would be so cool if they did make a sequel, but I won't believe it until there's a real announcement.

Anyways, I've had this game for years and after reviewing a bunch of the old boards on the site I found this one and the game came to mind. I'm gonna start playing this since its been on my shelf for years. Thoul don't smite me for not playing one of your favorite genre games. Anyways thats my news on this old topic for the day >.>

I think you'll enjoy it. It's a great, fun RPG in the good ol' Sega fashion. Lots of stuff to do, great characters, and a cool story.

It's a pity the sequel has never materialized. There are still rumors about it every now and then, but so far nothing.

Woah, Skies of Arcadia! Glad to hear that I'm not the only one who loves it~ I only played the Gamecuve version, but I loved it to pieces~ It may be stereotypical RPG fare, but everything about it so well done that it doesn't seem so. I hope that that sequel rumor turns out to be true; although Sega's stuff hasn't been the greatest lately.

^Yeah, it's been forever I know. I got swept up with my finals work and then I didn't have internet access all summer, so yeah. It feels great to be back though!

Glad to see you back! I think I have a few SoA wallpapers. They came on the Dreamcast disc, if I remember right. They're pretty small, but if you want them I'll see if I can dig them up.
