 Post subject: Sidney Poitier, r.i.p.

Actor, Director, and Civil Rights Activist, Sidney Poitier has died. He was 94.

Poitier had a long and successful career in films, TV, and other venues. He was the first Black actor to win an Oscar at the Academy Awards in 1964 for the film "Lillies Of The Field. He also was famous for movies such as "Guess Who's Coming To Dinner", "Uptown Saturday Night", " A Raisin In The Sun", "The Defiant Ones", " To Sir With Love", and many others.

I loved his movies! Lilies of the Field, Raisin in the Sun and A Patch of Blue are among my favorites. RIP dear sir!

Oh no ! Seen that yesterday evening at the french news...so sad ! :( :cry: He was so great....condolences to his family...:tombstone:
