Sick turtle finds hospital

Smart turtle. She was sick and found a hospital by herself.

What a smart turtle. I like turtles next to lizards they are my next favourite animal.

Wow, that's nuts. What a smart turtle! I couldn't imagine any of my animals going to the hospital by themselves when they're sick; they hate the vet office.

That's a freaking smart turtle! I wish other animals were that cooperative with their medical problems! *Shakes fist at frog tank because of one frog that won't shed her skin properly and keeps getting skin fungus as a result.*

This is an incredible story. I suspect many animals are more intelligent and self-aware than we give them credit for.

Update:

I was watching Fox & Friends news show this morning and they had a story about this turtle on there. It seems the turtle is now completely healed and well and they let it go back out into the waters of the ocean today during the Fox broadcast. Now it can be with it's turtle friends again and back in a well-known environment. I think they named the turtle "Kincaid" or something like that. It was a very big turtle. Aw, A very happy ending!

Great to see a follow-up to this story. Sounds like one satisfied turtle patient. Maybe Kincaid will refer her friends if they ever need medical help?
