Just in time for my birthday, I found 2 (brand new, factory sealed!) PS2 games at my local arcade/game store.

First up is Megaman X Collection. To be honest, I already have the GameCube version (which is pretty rare), but I got this one because I play PS2 much more than GC. Not to mention the GC's big A button making it awkward charge up a shot and dash at the same time.

Next we have KOF Orochi Hen. This is different from the US Orochi Saga Collection since it doesn't have KOF '94 or '98, but it does have stuff the US collection doesn't have, like color editing and arranged music. I still have to get SwapMagic before I can play it because it's Japanese.

Nice finds! It is getting harder to find good PS2 games that are still sealed, so those are some good treasures there.

Ah I haven't seen that the two PS2 games were sealed : sealed games, on any console system, are indeed very rare to find nowadays ! So nice pick :)

My recent acquisitions are not exciting to show because they were digital titles. However, I have got my first proper Vita title, Gravity Rush. And yes, it is really great.

TILI : Soon, digital titles are (unfortunately) going to be more and more important :(

The sad thing is that physical titles are coming with less and less resources. For example, most Vita games don't have an instruction manual, just the cartridge and the cover. As much as I love physical, there is no point paying double here in Brazil for a plastic cover.

Ah the problem of the instruction manual is a shame ! The instruction manual is absolutely indispensable ! Even some editors are starting to not put anyone in plastic boxes (that's a shame) but maybe some will make us pay for this in the future !!!! :( Awfull...

The decline of manuals is a terrible thing. I suppose it is good to have in-game tutorials and references, but I've always found having a printed resource easier for a quick refresher. I have to agree that there's no much point in paying extra for just a box, though.

Even if a lot of people didn't even read the instruction manual, it's an obligation to have one with the game...
