Phantasy Star: Fringes of Algo

At the end of Crys' quest in Phantasy Star III, the Alisa III barely manages to escape burning up after being set on a collision course for a nearby star. Thanks to the efforts of Crys, his companions, and the pilots of Aerone, the ship moves away from the star and returns to the original course it traveled since leaving Palma. That course ends at this green planet, the third in its solar system. One might almost think this planet to be Earth, if it did not have two moons.

Is it really 2 moons? I have played Crys' quest (I have a save state right before Dark Force) and cannot recall if it says those are moons. They could be planets, Mercury and Venus with the 3rd planet being Earth.

I do prefer the scenario of the 2 moons however, it makes a great sequel to PS3 for any RPG Maker game.

The game dialogue doesn't specify as to the identity of those two celestial bodies. However, we do get to see Earth and it's moon in one of the other endings. They look like this:

Assuming that the same scale is used in the two images (reasonable, since they are palette swaps), that would mean the larger of the two moons is the same size as Earth's moon.

That certainly makes sense then. I havent finished the endings in quite some time (usually start maxing out characters once Nei weapons are achieved then restart game lol) so I havent seen the Earth scenes to remember them
