I thought the artwork was interesting, as it's nice to see the cast there on the front. Also, it seems that there's some sort of contest.

The art is nice, it's good to see Sega hasn't forgotten the history of the series. Chaz looks like some kind of weird elf, but the others, especially Alis and Myau, look very nice.
The contest has something to do with making fan art, submitting it, and the winning art will be displayed in-game on Blue Burst and Phantasy Star Universe. I think anyway... Babelfish's translation is especially poor on that page.

I just realised... Thoul already had this in the news section! Boy, do I feel silly now.
I liked Mieu and Wren in particular. Although, I didn't recognise the other blonde (other than Chaz).
I hadn't really thought about that until you pointed it out. Wren isn't too bad, though.

I like the background, but the nose of Laia looks weird. The symmetry of how they worked in two people from every game is neat.
