Text Adventures

Hey, did you ever get round to completing the text adventures yet?

No. I lost all my emulator stuff recently. I have to gather it all again. I hadn't even gotten to Eusis's game yet.

how do the text adventures work?

You mean on the emulator?

well, I'd never heard of them before I came to Fringes

and then I see you guys talking about it and I'm like, "what is this?"

well basically, it's all done in text. You have a menu to do various things and you jsut go about doing whatever it is you#re there to do

for example, Shir's adventure revolves around her trying to steal a valuable painting from an art gallery while there's a party going on

think of.. old sierra point and click games like Kings Quest or such.. you got it

Shadowgate, uninvited, etc

Have you ever played point-and-click adventure games for the computer? They're like that, only reduced to text. You can only move on once you complete certain tasks in certain orders.
