Sandworm

This is an enemy from Rudo's Text Adventure. Since this game has not been translated, I'm not sure of the creature's actual name, but it calls to mind images of the huge sandworms seen in Phantasy Star IV. I guess Motavia was not entirely green at this point, giving the sandworms plenty of room to roam the world.

If you spliced the genes of a shark and a worm, I think that sandworm would be the result.

A shark, that's it. I knew this looked like something I had seen before, but I couldn't place it. Definitely sharkish, especially with what looks like gills on the side of the head.

Not just that, but also the dorsal fins and its tail in the upper-left corner of the image (if that IS its tail, but it looks like it could be). It all looks sharkish to me....even the mouth.

Thx, I finally can figure what that blue thing at the left corner of the image is. Yes, that's the point of a shark tail.

Good guessing! It's called a Sand Shark.

Bumping up this former Image Of The Day!

An enemy creature from Text Adventures. Call it what you like, sandworm, sandshark, etc., it still looks dangerous.
