Rumor: KOF XIII console release details in next Famitsu?

So far, it doesn't look like SNK will be at E3 next month, but Ignition (who published some SNK titles like Metal Slug 7 and KOF XII/98UM) will be there! Maybe they're going to publish KOF XIII! We'll have to wait and see though.

Yeah it makes sense for Ignition to publish KOF XIII they’ve done so many of SNK's games already. Should be interesting to see what they have to say at E3 regardless.

Hmm interesting to see Atlus picking this up. I'm quite certain it's going to be much harder if not impossible to find in Australia now however. Atlus never officially releases any of their games down here. The only times I’ve ever seen any Atlus games is because the store has imported them from the US, and usually only a small handful at that.

Good ol' Atlus, they always bring over games that fans really want but no one else will touch. I'm glad to see that this game will get a release. It's a shame about Australia, though. Maybe Atlus will look at expanding to that area soon.

Maybe things won't be as bad as they look, since I think Atlus is only publishing the US version of KOF XIII, so maybe SNKP is publishing it everywhere else.

Fingers crossed it does get a PAL release and hopefully an Australia PAL release since we never got KOF '98 UM, but Europe and the UK did. Still slightly ticked off about that. I could probably get Gametraders to import the game for me if worst comes to worst (Ebgames Australia wont do imports) but I can assure you I’ll be paying a huge amount for it.

I'm not too surprised since I've heard that data for him and a '98 version of Iori (with his flames) were in XII. Maybe SNK is adding both of them along with Eiji for the return of the KOF '95 Rivals team, but Mary and Yamazaki sound more likely. Anyway here's a pic of hid in action
