A very, very old Roman Helmet that was found in a field in London by someone using a metal detector will go up for auction on October 7th, and is expected to bring a very hefty price tag:

That's a strange looking helmet. The mask part is odd. It seems like something that would be used in an old play, when actors wore masks. They would change their mask to take on the persona of different character, allowing a large play to use only a few actors.
