Rock Hall Of Fame

Glad that Green Day is getting inducted, but I'm ticked off that Nine Inch Nails won't be in there after they were the second most voted candidate.

The 2015 Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame Induction ceremony was recently held for new inductees Ringo Starr, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Joan Jett, Green Day, and others.

I think Ringo is already in there as a member of The Beatles group. Now he is in there as an individual performer. All the other Beatles (John, George, Paul) have already been previously inducted as single performers. Bout time that Ringo was honored too!!

Nominations for the 2016 Rock Hall Of Fame have been announced and they include The Cars, Chaka Chan, Cheap Trick, Chic, Chicago, Deep Purple, Janet Jackson, The J.B.'s, Los Lobos, Nine Inch Nails, N.W.A., The Smiths, Steve Miller, The Spinners, Yes.

The voting process will last through December 9 and the winners will be announced when the voting process is finished sometime in December, and the induction ceremony will be sometime in April 2016.

I hope Nine Inch Nails will make it!

I think Yes and Deep Purple are probably the most deserving, IMO.

I am not familiar with all these groups, however, I would say that The Spinners may be the ones that have been in the music business the longest, but then I don't know that much about the other groups.

I really think Chicago has a good chance of making it this year. They were very popular years ago and their music still is in many areas.

Still so many other groups (past and present) so deserving of this award but it continues to elude them every year! Such a pity.
