Robot soilders in USA

pardon the pun, but it looks like real life "terminators" for the USA's future:

This is sort of scary. I almost hate to see where it is going to take us or how we may wind up because of this.

If John Conner is out there listening in the future somewhere, perhaps he better send somebody back to the present to stop this idea right now before it goes any further. :yaknow:

So, what do you think about these robots - yea or nay ???

The US military has been using robots more and more in the past few years to keep soldiers out of harm's way, so it was only a matter of time until they started looking at this as am option. It might be okay if they keep the robots under human control. Setting a lot of the things on automation could turn around and bite them. I don't think we would see an indiscriminate killer robot unless an opposing force (terrorists or an enemy army) captures one and reprograms it.

I think there would be a very good possibility of that happening. If we get it, everyone else in the world is going to want it and get it eventually somehow or other. Of course they will want to use theirs against us or just for evil purposes in general against whomever they desire.

I had no idea. :yikes: I personally find this too "space age" for my liking. Then again, modern conveniences that we have now such as "cars" must have seemed scary and ridiculous once, so meh. I just hope that the robots will contain some sort of self destruct function in case they get out of control.
