Revamping the PS Dream Casts

My dream cast for a Phantasy Star movie in 1985 or 1986, even before the game was created (let's think the movie came first, was a hit, and then the game was made).



Those are meant to be Jennifer Connelly, Dolph Lundgren and Tom Cruise. Tom is kind of short so he would need special camera angles so he would not look like Lutz is Alicer's height.

He was also younger than Lutz by around 4 years, but I think that works with Lutz, since he is meant to look very good, so looking younger than he is would fit.

The poses are taken out from promotional pictures from Labyrinth, Rocky IV and Legend (and Thundercats, in Myaw's case).

Yeah! With her being the perfect age during her Labyrinth era, I really wish the PS movie had been done before the game.

Or perhaps Dolph Lundgren is not the only choice for a possible inspiration for a PS character.

Agreed! I don't know if I can get behind Tom Cruise as Noah/Lutz 100%, but I'll let it go for now for the sake of your awesome poster.

I think that Orlando Bloom would make a good Phantasy Star I Noah/Lutz. But for Phantasy Star to it would either be somewhere else, or be him, just a little aged. But definitely not Phantasy Star IV's Lutz. He can certainly do mysterious wizard, but he cannot do "bad 'colloquial term for a donkey'" Wizard.

A4, I am not 100% with Cruise as Lutz. Even though he is very good looking, he is not "pretty" enough in the sense of looking like a girl. But when I thought the decision was between him and Boy George, I realized that I could live with Lutz looking a little more like a man.

And I love bushy eyebrows! In women, too. I really dislike the look of eyebrows when they have been plucked out. They look so unnatural!

Edit: I was thinking, continuing with the 1985 PS movie... Corey Feldman could do the voice for Myaw. I do not know how good of a voice actor he could have been then, but since he grew up into a good one, this could be a good start.
