Regis Philbin has passed away at the age of 88. He would have been 89 next month if he had lived.

Regis was an entertainer for many years. He was a talk show host for many years on the tv show "Live With Regis and Kathie Lee (Gifford)", and before that he was a co-host on "The Joey Bishop Show" and several other shows.

He was also the host of the very popular tv show "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" of a several years ago.

He was also a singer. He was a very funny guy.

Condolences to his family and friends. :tombstone: :rose:

Just read today that Regis was buried Wednesday in a Cemetery on the grounds of Notre Dame University. Notre Dame was the University he attended and he always talked lovingly of that place on the "Live With Regis & Kathie Lee" tv show and his favorite guest was Lou Holtz, who coached Notre Dame football for many years.

Regis was a great guy and will be missed by many.
