 Post subject: Rare Striped Rabbit

Look at these pics that were taken of a rare striped rabbit found in Sumatra:

Although the pics are not the best quality from what I can see, it is an amazing find nonetheless. I have never heard of a striped rabbit before but it seems to be fairly common knowledge among those mentioned in the article.

Sometimes I wonder why particular animals like these are only found in certain areas. I assume they survive best in these different habitats, etc. and I suppose that is why the world keeps on discovering so many new species of animals never seen before.

That’s interesting, all the wild rabbits found in Australia are seen as feral animals and are often viewed as harmful to the environment, as result it’s illegal to have a pet rabbit in QLD for that reason (some Australian states allow rabbits as pets though). Even so I still think they are awesome animals.

Ah I love rabbits ! During my childhood, I've had some rabbits, some in my parent's garden and other ones in cages ! But these rare striped rabbits are awesome ! Even if the pics aren't in the best quality, that is very strange but nice.
