Irvin Kershner, 87, (director "Empire Strikes Back") has died:

It's very sad to hear about Leslie Nielsen. He was a great comedic actor, easily able to bring a smile and a laugh to many faces with his deadpan delivery.

I'm not very familiar with Irvin Kershner, beyond watching Empire. Still, he did a great job with that movie. Too many film trilogies are weak in their second installment, but Empire breaks that mold as a favorite with many people.

I only found out today about Leslie Nielson that he passed away, I was so sad when I found out he passed away. He is and always will be a funny guy, I'll miss him. May he rest in peace.

Pete Postlethwaite acted out the role of Father Gilbert in the Dragonheart movie. You can probably tell by my signature it is my favorite movie. :(
