Alot of sites say that the music composer for PSIII, IPPO, is Izuho Takeuchi, but on other sites, it says it was Ippo Yamada, a composer who currently works for Inti Creates, a second party developer for Capcom, who developed the Mega Man Zero series, and 2008's smash, Megaman 9. Which sources are right, and which ones aren't?

Ahh, Ippo! I loved his music in PSIII and PSIV. ^_^ Great stuff and fond memories if you ask me~

And yes, ThugsRock would be correct. Izuho Takeuchi is his name. :3

I think the music of PSIII is underrated. I actually really like the battle music, to be perfectly honest. It needed more music tracks, but what's there is solid.

It's sad, it seems like none of the composers of the original games have careers in music in any way. :(

There was nothing wrong with the compositions of PSIII's battle themes, it was in the implementation. They could change at the drop of a hat. But you can get used to something like that; it hardly bothers me anymore.
