Purple Tomatoes

I've heard of ripe red tomatoes and green tomatoes, but never purple tomatoes until now. What do you think of these purple tomatoes? Will they be a new hit sensation if or when they are ever available for human consumption do you think, or what?

I doubt it will be well received. Mainly because it's a genetically engineered food. I think there are too many people that still don't like that idea.

I dunno, it seems weird to me. I'm not too trusting of things that aren't natural.
