Alright! This will make my roommate very happy! I'd get it too, but I still have a working cartridge and Genesis, so no need for me.

Woohoo! :hyper:

What a great Christmas present. Sometimes I'm not sure about Nintendo, but they always do something to renew my faith in the company. :ball: Now I just need to check and see if I have enough Wii points to get it.

Here's the official VC page for the game: Phantasy Star IV.

They need to get this stuff for XBL dangit! Lol, although I probably wouldn't dl it since I have the original, the one on the Genesis Collection, and hoping to get the one for the 360 when it comes out.

Fear not Kaloes! Coming in February Sega is releasing Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection which includes a ton of genesis games of yesteryear including PS 2, 3, & 4 plus unlockables. Now according to a press release there will be 4 PS games on this[ here's hoping for PS1 which I have on the master system but still] and every game will be reworked into HD.

I thought Phantasy Star IV was rated K-A not E. Or so it said on my genesis cartridge before my mom sold it on me (I feel like crying :( ).

K-A is now an obsolete ESRB rating - the K-A games were all re-rated as E.

Ah, well... Not like it really mattered anyway. Perhaps, just maybe... I should re-learn all the ESRB ratings... meh...

I thought the original rating was from Sega instead of the ESRB and that the ESRB hadn't been formed yet when PSIV was released.

I had to check to refresh my memory - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ESRB

Sega did rate their games from ~1993-1994, in late 1994 they started using the ESRB ratings so PSIV would have been an early ESRB rated game.
