PS3 naming convention ponderings

Postby Zio_Falz » Mon Mar 29, '21, 8:11 pm

We know from the other PS Classic series, the names were changed due to only being able to hold 4 charater/letter names.

But in the Japanese PS3, every character you can play as, already have 4 letter names, when romanized to English.

Strange, right?

True about the changing of the names tied to the "place" for the letters !

That's even weirder. You got the easily 4 letter land of Riik, changed to, Landen.
I suppose for the fanservice and continuity, as its done several times in the game, like with New Mota etc.

That is very strange indeed ! :( Many words in PSIII were more (and for certain of them far more) than 4 letters ! ;)
