A friend of mine, Yoz, has been working for a few weeks on a complete set of sprites for PS1. I've just published the first version of his work:

It's really an amazing job. He captured sprites under two different resolutions, and went as far as capturing every single frame of movement. There are still a few sprites missing, and he is currently working on it.

Very nice. Did he use screenshots or rip the tiles from the ROM? Either way, it had to take forever to get them all.

He took screenshots of the game, Hugues, one by one. It's really an amazing job. As soon as he fills a few blanks in this sprite pack, he will do the same with PSII.

Yoz added a few more sprites. He even created a new enemy:

Wow! That's amazing. Tell your friend that he has my respect. Do you know if he's doing this for PSIII or PSIV too?
