PSO in PSU?

I remember reading somewhere that Phantasy Star Universe was going to incorporate some levels that were designed to mimic a few from Phantasy Star Online. Did Sega ever go through with that? If so, did anyone play it and how did it go? Was it a faithful PSO homage?

I haven't noticed anything new, although I do know that one of the achievements you get for the new expansion is defeating De Rol Le of course you also get one for beating Dark Falz if I remember correctly.

Online you ran randomly get one of the 4 levels of PSO as a special stage in PSU. Also Dancing birds and some of the AOTI stages mimic alot of PSO memorabilia.

If you want something cool, Nostalgia in Solitude pt 2 from PSO Ep IV was played online for the 1up cup and Magfest.

I remember doing 1up and shouting online "Oh my great light! PS 3 music! RHYS ANGER and others!"

We can find tracks from PSI, PSII and PSIII but, for some reason, there's no PSIV tracks (or at least I didn't found any) like PSIV wasn't the continuation for PSO (just a thought). Another thing interesting is about the track names: "nostalgia", "ancient times".

Actually, Revolution to the Origin, specifically part 2 has a remix of her last breath when it kicks up.

at 0:25 to 0:49 into it.. That is a rendition of her last breath. If you've ever heard the guitar remix of Her last breath you'd understand.

In fact, that whole song is a tribute to her last breath. It fits because Red Ring Rico's last adventure was the ruins.
