TILI : same for me but not for the same reason ! I haven't bought any PS collectibles for a while and will certainly not change this fact in a long while... but play the games and continue to go to this fantastic site ! :fiery:

Here's an unusual auction, no physical product. Seller is pre-auctioning off the rights to the redemptions codes that will be given exclusively to attendees of the March 30th PS 25th Anniversary Orchestra Concert. Said codes will only be valid on the day of the concert to redeem for a Soniti Mag and some violin case gun weapon. Asking price, well, I think the seller will be attending the concert for about nothing if someone bites on this listing.

PSO2 Vita PoP
Apparently the seller had more than one available as already got one ordered and on the way, yet it's listed again:

Very strange and truly "unusual" auction ! Don't think I'll be willing to pay for it but...if some other people are interested, why not ? :)

21 BIDS!
26,000 yen!
That's $278.22 at the present exchange rate. O_O
And there is still another two days to go before the auction ends.

To think that many great PS books are sold by less than 1000 yen and a "virtual" thing from a game reaches so high... :(
A person only sees and hears what he wants to see and hear and disregards the rest.

Yeah, no kidding tilinelson2. For just $74.60 (total with shipping) last month I was able to order:
4 different official PSO mangas
3 different official PSO strategy guide books
JP Xbox PSO
PSU/PSO: Episode III Art Book
PSO doujin fan disk of some sort
and a JP-only promo soundtrack CD from another game

At this moment in time, that kind of money is enough for a smart shopper to buy a very nice collection of real items.

Auction for the in-game item codes mentioned numerous times above ended at 26,500 yen! :wow_luigi:

So, enlight of the first seller who more than successfully sold off the rights to his concert ticket bonus in-game item codes, another seller is now offering them, and has additional pictures of what I assume are additional in-game exclusives the other seller failed to detail.

Yes, there were official PSO mangas released pertaining to DC PSO, and later at least one based on Episodes 1&2. If the old Sonic Team PSO website were still online I would link you to the official merchandise page which detailed them.

EDIT:
Just spotted this!
PSO 10th Anniversary PSP - Had no idea this even existed!

Wow, that's a nice PSP. Didn't know about that one either. I'm not sure how rare it is, but a good design like that must have sold quickly.
