A topic for the Phatasy Star rarities that do occassionally turn up.

Phantasy Star Universe: Promotional Copy (PS2)
http://cgi.ebay.com/Phantasy-Star-Unive ... 638Q2em122
Seller claims its one of only 500 copies made.

Phantasy Star - Tec Toy (Brazillian) SMS Re-release Copy
http://cgi.ebay.com/PHANTASY-STAR-REPRI ... dZViewItem
Original Tec Toy release more closely resembled the appearance of the U.S. release. Haven't seen a re-release copy turn up for sale in a very long time.

Those are some interesting PS related auctions.

Thanks for bringing them to our attention. :)

I would have missed these for certain as I haven't been to ebay in such a long time. I forgot it was even still there. I might have to go check that place out again some time.

Heheh awesome.
When ever search for Phantasy Star related stuff on Australia's ebay it only throws up PSU and PSO. On very rare occassions I have seen the original Phantasy Star appear a few times but it goes for very high prices. $150+ AUD. :blank: Phantasy Star III has also appeared a lot of times but it is no where near a expensive usually around $60 AUD - $100 AUD. As for PSII & IV haven't seen either yet.

This makes me feel fortunate that I got my original ccart of Phantasy Star along with about 5 garbage SMS titles for $40 off of ebay. If Phantasy Star sold alone, I imagine it would've started off at $40.

I found a site that was selling a 4 cd set of the Original Phantasy Star games. I bought it for 80 dollars and got it and it's incredible. For anyone who would like this, here is the site: http://www.vgmworld.com/catalog/index.p ... m_num=1589

Now here's a steal! There's not one, but two seperate sellers with no reserve auction listings on Ebay for the PSO artbook titled "Phantasy Star Online: Perfect Material Collection: The Book of Hunters".

Auction 1:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Phantasy-Star-Onlin ... 7C294%3A50

Auction 2:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Phantasy-Star-Onlin ... 7C294%3A50

:2c: Already own a copy of this artbook and I can say it was well worth the price I paid for it... which was considerably more than what these copies are listed at.

I paid full retail price + shipping for the Episode 3 soundtrack a few years back. It's worth it though. The music is everybit as good as that of the first two episodes.
