Wow, I'll be very surprised if the price on the cell doesn't skyrocket. That is truly a one of a kind piece of Phantasy Star history. I am sooo tempted to go for that. Thanks for bringing this to our attention Tweeg - it really is a unique item we are not likely to see again.

A mere thirteen hours remain and it is still only at minimum bid. Must say I'm rather shocked by this.

It'll probably shoot up in the last few hours during snipe bidding. There's only 8 hours left now with still no change, but I'll be surprised if the price doesn't at least double in the last few minutes.

:? Well... I never saw that coming. It sold for minimum bid at 5,000 yen, roughly US $50.

I didn't pay close attention to it, but if I had to guess, I would expect it to sell for the mininum. I really believe it was more a thing between us than over there.

Not as rare as the last item, but nearly as expensive!

Phantasy Star - Samsung Korean Version

Phantasy Star - Tec Toy Brazillian Version
http://page2.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/b159967552

Believe this is my first time seeing a complete Korean copy of Phantasy Star.

Just wondering if anyone ever sees any Phantasy Star stuff in auctions anywhere any more. I haven't really had time to explore ebay or anywhere else in a very long time. This thread always kept me up to date on stuff like that.

Has anyone found any good Phantasy Star bargains anywhere recently in online auctions?

Sorry, it's complicated, but suffice to say I was trying to cut ack on the amount of time I spend on the computer each day... yeah that hasn't worked out to well. I completely stopped even look back in May of this year because I lost my job and was unemployed for over five months, it depressed me to no end to look and not be able to buy. In fact, I'm still working on recovering my finances back to a stable position, not ordered any PSO goods since early in the year. And then there is the merchandising insanity that is PSO2 and the fact we still don't have PSO2 despite SoA once again this year saying it's coming to the west. Well here you go, just cruised Ebay. Not a lot going on from what I see, aside from insane pricing on the SMS, Genesis/MD, GG, and GC Phantasy Star games.

$12.94 - NEW PSP Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity Playstation Portable

$12.98 - Nintendo DS Phantasy Star 0 ZERO Japan NDS Lite F/S

$17.99 - Phantasy Star Online Sega Dreamcast - PAL

$19.00 - Phantasy Star Nova (Vita - Used, complete)

$30.79 - Phantasy Star Nova - Retail Dispaly Materials

I haven't looked auctions for a while because exchange rates are terrible in my country nowadays and everything is double the price it used to be a 18 months ago. However, for my last purchases, the best place to buy was Japanese auctions. There were at the time opportunities to buy rare Phantasy Star books for as low as $20, things that you would not see for less than $100 on eBay.

Same is still true tilinelson2. I've been avoiding looking entirely for over a year now. Have a lousy job at which I just had my one year anniversary, oh yay </sarcasm>. The absolute glut of PSO2 merchandising has been somewhat disappointing as well. Sega has really cashed in on PSO2's incredible popularity there in Japan and will likely never open the ship gates to us lowly foreigners out of fear we would taint the atmosphere they're working so hard to maintain in the game.

Haven't imported anything now since ... late 2014? It's been far to long, but I simply do not have the funds, and I'm back in a depressive mood due to how rather terrible things seem to be going for me in real life.

Sorry if this is a bit of a rant, really just wanted to fill everyone in say it's not that I don't care anymore, I'm just broke and skimming the listings for PSO goodies becomes rather depressing when you can't afford to make the occasional purchase.
