Coming To America

This is my favorite Eddie Murphy film. I think this is the funniest film he's ever been in. The first parts of the film that take place in Africa are kind of meh, but once they get to New York, the laughter picks up, and it's one of the funniest movies ever. My favorite scene is where they're at the Black Awareness Rally, and Randy Watson and Sexual Chocolate perform. I thought that was the funniest scene in the whole movie.

I don't think I've ever seen that all the way through. The first parts turned me off - like you said, they were meh. I never watched the rest. Maybe I should.

Don't think I have ever seen that one all the way through either, so won't comment on it either way.

I think the best role I have seen Eddie Murphy in so far is "Dreamgirls". He was great in that one. Not so funny, but he was able to show another side of his acting abilities. I enjoyed the role.
