Today was the official holiday known as "President's Day". It is a day in the US when the birthdays of two former Presidents (Lincoln & Washington) are observed, etc.:

Monday will be the day President's Day is celebrated here in the USA for 2012. Schools are out, banks will probably be closed, etc.

Today, February 12, 2013 is late President Abraham Lincoln's birthday! :cake:

Monday, February 18, 2013 is late President George Washington's birthday, and is also the official holiday that birthdays for both of these late Presidents are observed!! :cake:

Monday, February 17, 2014 is President's Day in the USA. Celebrating the birthdays of US Presidents Abraham Lincoln and George Washington who were both born in this month. This is an official holiday with most banks and other places closed for the day.

President's Day is tomorrow, Monday, February 16, 2015. Enjoy the holiday to those that have a day off from work!!

I happened to see a program today on PBS about former President's Theodore Roosevelt and Franklin D, Roosevelt. Very interesting and historical show.
