pregnant Giraffe ?

The wait is finally over! The baby Giraffe was born early this morning.

So far I haven't heard a name for the new baby.

The article says the baby should be around 6 feet tall at birth. Wow! That's taller than me already.

Heard that the web cam on April the Giraffe had been pulled. Think they were getting bogged down or something like that. It may return in some form some day.

Nope, No news about a name for the Giraffe baby yet, the last I heard. I think they may be having some kind of contest about the name, but not sure on that. Anyway, I have seen a few pics of the Mom and Baby since the web cam was shut down and the baby looks healthy and happy and growing.

It would be great if there is a sort of contest about finding a name for the baby Giraffe ! Let's see later if it's the case and what is gonne be the name !

I read this morning that the name for the baby Giraffe has been told. The baby's name is " Tajiri". Supposedly, it means hope in the Swahili language.
