Potatoes carnivorous ???

Some Scientists are now saying that potatoes may be carnivorous plants:

You know, I have to wonder who spends their time sitting around watching potato plants to discover stuff like this. I mean, it's interesting and good to know - particularly for farmers. But still, you'd think stuff like this would have already been discovered by now.

What's even more fun is whoever is sitting around doing this "work" is getting paid a lot more than I am.
