Too early to say yet. I haven't heard any pricing details. The few games I've heard about didn't draw my attention, either. I might wait a year or two if I do get one. Give Sony time to work out the bugs in the product.

I never care about consoles before a good number of games is released. Hardware and gimmicks like motion controllers, cameras, touch screens, connectivity, social networks, etc, mean nothing if games are not good because a computer or tablet does those non-gaming things better.

Then, I will wait till 2015 to consider a console of the new generation. The prices will be lower, the models will be improved, many games will be cheaper, and I will be able to choose the console with the most interesting library to me.
A person only sees and hears what he wants to see and hear and disregards the rest.

Also, another article that says the camera for the PS4 may be sold seperatly from the game system:

I've learned my lesson of being an early adopter of new systems and portables. If the previous generation taught us anything, it's that there are going to be so many different versions, price cuts, and re-designs of the new systems. Plus there will be a good amount of bugs and hardware problems to go along with the new hardware. I personally think it's pointless to jump on the bandwagon early for these new systems, unless you are waiting for them so bad you can't stand it.

Amen to that! I'm just going to to wait for 2-3 years and get a PS4 for Christmas. None of the launch titles really interest me, anyway. Besides, at least for now, I'll have GTA V and Arkham Origins to hold me over for awhile.

Well, I didn't get one and I can't say I care. But, my boyfriend preordered one, and as I'm moving in with him...looks like I'm an early adopter by corollary, lol.
Next Pokemon game(s): Pearl
Last finished Pokémon game: Shield
Other games: Skyrim Special Edition (Switch), Spyro Reignited Trilogy (Switch & PS4), Okami (Switch & PS4)
Other gaming goals: completing a Living Pokedex (minus some event Pokes) and going through at least 1 game per generation

Could the PlayStation 4 be getting a virtual reality headset??? Interesting article regarding that fact below:

I guess we will find out more about whether this is true, or not, in the days to come.

I guess this is going to be the new thing, with this and the Oculus Rift. And I still have yet to accept motion controls.
