Saw this on CNN while I was at the laundromat this evening. Basically got my laundry going in the washer, sat down, looked up at the TV on CNN and saw this.

It's a pretty harrowing video. The rocket gets above the launch pad, but then something in the propulsion explodes and it drops right back to the ground and the whole thing explodes on impact. Fortunately, it was an unmanned mission so no one was hurt. The rocket was designed by a private company contracted by NASA, and this particular model has worked fine before. The cause of the failure is currently unknown. The rocket was bound for the International Space Station with some supplies.
